FACT Family News

There is a Winter Storm Watch in effect from Friday, January 30 starting at 4:00 pm through Sunday, February 1. Heavy snow is expected with total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.. The heavy snow will make many roads impassable and may produce isolated power outages due to the weight of the snow on tree limbs and power lines. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.

All of this weather could affect our Sunday morning worship service. We will let you know about Sunday morning in each of the following 3 ways.

Details on our special project, schedule of activities, and speakers will be available soon. 

It is time to register for the Summer 2026 Missions Trip to Trujillo, Peru in July 2026 to serve with Inca Link Ministries. This trip is open to all youth, adults, and children (under the age of 12, must have a guardian on the trip with them). The exact dates have yet to be set but it will be in the second or third week of July. The total cost is expected to be around $2000 (includes everything), and there will be a $300 deposit due for adults by February 28th. Registration for adults must be completed by January 31st. First Alliance Church of Toccoa is forming a short-term missions trip to Envision Atlanta in April 2026. The dates are April 24-26 and the cost is $175. This cost would cover lodging and meals. If you would be interested in this ministry, please contact Jarvis Crosby.

Monthly Prayer Focus - Alliance Missions

Give thanks for the work of the U.S. Alliance all over the world.

• Pray for our international workers and intercede on their behalf as they serve Christ in some of the least reached and often “Hard Places”.

• Cry out to the Lord for the 4000+ unreached people groups that still do not understand who Jesus is.

• Pray for new workers to go in the power of the Spirit to the more than 40% of the world’s people groups who have no indigenous community of believing Christians able to introduce their people to Jesus.

• Pray for generous giving by the Alliance family so that more can hear, know, and be transformed by Jesus, and for Alliance leadership to steward and mobilize GCF resources well.

• Pray for the light of Jesus to shine brightly in the darkest places of our world. Ask that every follower of Jesus in the Alliance be fully part of completing the Great Commission as we remember all of Jesus to all the world takes all of us.

• Pray for our upcoming Family Festival of Nations and that our hearts will be ready to receive the call God will place on our hearts and lives.
